Pacman earned a place in boxing in this fight. By defeating Cotto, not only has he set himself up for a rematch(and more money), but, he also proved that he has the power in his punches to dominate his weight class.
This gives him the leverage to make any fight he wants. Shane Mosley or Floyd Mayweather will have to consider fighting Pacquiao if they want a huge fight. The sport needs it... and so does Vegas.
