Holiday Gift: The iToc Watch
Wednesday, December 23, 2009
You know I've told you about the Nooka digital watches and the Flud watches...now I want to hip you to one of the freshest I've seen...the i-toc.
The i -toc has a really unique way of telling time - it replaces the hour hand with an hour disc in the center and the minute hand with an outer disc to display minutes.

The watch is the creation of Sean Zoega, electronics engineer and designer. He believes when art loses, forgets or neglects its function, the design has failed.(Deep.)
Sean created the i-toc to be a work of art as well as function. I liked the i-toc immediately because of its sleek design and the simplicity. There aren't a lot of buttons to play with or separate functions to learn. Once you learn how read its disc display.
That's not all...the gradient rings create new patterns as they move to show the time.
It's the perfect conversation piece. Comes in a variety of colors: black, silver, blue, violet, red & orange.
Each watch is made in limited production in numbers of 500, 400 or 200. This lends to the exclusivity.
You might have already seen some of your favorite celebrities wearing them.

The i-toc:
- comes in a matte aluminum anodised case (41 x 27 x 6mm)
- 2 disc Japan Quartz movement
- colored crown and matching resin side panels
- 3 ATM water resistance
- silicon rubber strap/stainless steel "butterfly" clasp
- scratch resistant raised and beveled crystal
- come with complete 1 year warranty
- packaged in distinctive tin
They're priced around $90.
