HVW8 Music recording artists Hawthorne Headhunters are a heavy funk outfit out of Southern California, in the tradition of funk godfather, Dam-Funk(search this blog).

Dope record.

The use of 3 different vocalists and early 80's electronic analog gear, great vocal arrangement and repetitive chorus. I'm diggin' the fact that the vocalists are extremely talented, helping to stretch the shelf life of the records they are going to create.

Using various lead vocalists, with distinct tones, they come across like a funk, electronic, Sly and The Family Stone... in a good way.
