Tiger Woods to Make Return at Masters

Tiger woods announced this morning(Tuesday March 16) that he is returning and will play at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia.
The tournament, scheduled for April 8-11 will air its early rounds on ESPN.
This doesn't come as a surprise to those who follow golf. The sport cannot afford for Tiger to be gone for too long and neither can Tiger.
Attendance would have taken a huge hit had he not been there to compete, sponsors would have had fewer people seeing their ads, I'm sure the television contracts would have needed to be renegotiated since the networks would not have been broadcasting the same program they were paying for.
Too many parties had too much to lose. When you factor in, he's a professional athlete and sitting at home isn't what he does... you see where I'm going with this.
This would have been the equivalent of Michael Jordan leaving the NBA to play minor league baseball(he never could hit that curve ball)... a waste of everyone's time.
