12 Killed at Batman Screening in Colorado

Early Thursday morning, a lone gunmen shot up a movie theater during the screening of the highly anticipated movie "The Dark Knight Rises" in Colorado. He killed 12 people and injured over 50 more.  Student James Holmes(24) is the suspected shooter in the massacre. 

Fans say, the movie had started when an exit door opened and loud popping sounds followed. The noise turned out to be gunfire. They thought it may have been part of the film.
