Thursday, February 16, 2012 "Room 222" starring, Lloyd Haynes, Denise Nicholas, Karen Valentine and Michael Constantine aired on September 17, 1969.
The comedy/drama TV series was about a teacher "Pete Dixon" who taught at Walt Whitman High School.
Dixon was assisted by his girlfriend and school counselor "Liz" and student teacher "Alice."
It was one of a few shows on television with black actors at that time.
The show aired for five seasons(1969-1974) on Wednesday nights at 9 pm on ABC.

He was a close friend and allied of NJ Gov. Chris Christies.
The longtime policitian was 75.

New York City residents can now track snow plows on the city's website during the next snowstorm.
A GPS tracking device was installed in each city truck and can be tracked in real time at any location.
It won't be faster, but you'll now where the snow plows are located in the city.

Rania Ali was the 1st baby born on New Year's Day in New York City.
The proud parents from the Bronx welcomed her at midnight at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
She weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces(18 and a half inches long).

While smoking a cigarette, he unplugged the lit tree.
He then walked away with it.

The small aircraft left Teterboro Airport at 10 am this morning, heading for Georgia.
