Jersey Wants Slow Drivers Out of the Fast Lane

The state of New Jersey wants drivers who drive slowly to stay out of the fast lane. 

State Senator Donald Norcross has introduced legislation to increase fines for those slower drivers who refuse to drive in the right lane.

He wants the minimum fine to increase from $50 to $100 and the maximum from $200 to $300.

General Motors Post Record Profit for 2011

After nearly collapsing and being bailed out by the government three years ago, General Motors has posted a record profit for 2011.

The company says they've earned $1.7 billion, up 66% from the previous year.

GM lost about $100 billion in the years before the recession hit. They once dominated the auto industry... globally!
