Former baseball player Roger Clemens - Photo: Village Voice

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton declared a mistrial in the Roger Clemens perjury case.

Evan Longoria's Bare Hand Catch - Real of Fake?

Tampa Bay Ray's third baseman Evan Longoria has a video of him saving a reporter from a foul ball with a bare handed catch going viral.

The question is, Is this catch actuall real or is it a Gillette commercial?

Gillette is saying they don't have anything to do with it, but other bloggers aren't buying it.

Check it out for yourselves.

I'm saying it's fake.

If you look between the :05-:06 mark(when he's saying "love our chances"as the hitter swings, a ball goes in the direction of the 3rd base line - you can see it against the green color of the dugout.

Next a light color object appears as the bat is moving BEHIND the hitter, then comes toward the camera.

I think this is right up there with Kobe jumping over the car a few years ago.

Pitcher Cliff Lee Signs with Phillies

After much speculation about where he would go, Cliff Lee, fresh off of great World Series performances(and losing the series to the San Fran Giants) turned down the Texas Rangers and NY Yankees generous offers and guaranteed money to go back to the Phillies(who traded him last year).

The deal is worth a reported $120 million for 5 years with a 6th year which could take it to $135 million.

Everyone thought it would be the Yanks because of CC Sabathia and the teams ability to consistently go deep into the post-season.

On paper Lee looks good with the Yanks... but not as good as he does with Philly.

Word.
