As developers notice demographic shifts and changing demands of new homeowners, they are rethinking the idea of building subdivisions in suburban communities - enter the urban market.
Simply put, there is a demand for the amenities cities offer. Homeowners like the idea of living in close proximity to the places they frequent - schools, stores and restaurants within walkable distances are high on their list of demands. Less time commuting is up there too!

If you like 7-Eleven Slurpee's but don't like the calories that come with the frozen multi-colored drinks you can now have your Slurpee and drink it too!
Starting in June, 7-Eleven will begin selling the new low-calorie Slurpee nationally. The new drink was created to offer a lower calorie alternative for women and those interested in consuming fewer calories, but interested in the same sweet taste. Just in time for summer!
There are those who warn, it's the same drink, different day.

After filing for bankruptcy late last year Dippin' Dots Inc. will attempt to make comeback.
A new company created by investors, Dippin' Dots LLC, is looking to take over operations of Dippin' Dots Inc. and make the flash frozen ice cream treat available to the masses.
Dippin' Dots Inc. fell behind on $12 million in loans and matters got worse when the loans couldn't be refinanced.
Hopefully they can work on lowering the price! Love the ice cream, but so many other treats cost less.
