It will be hosted by radio (and television) personality Egypt of WBLS.

This event is produced by On The Rocks Entertainment and WBLS.

Charlie is singing better than ever and he always impresses when he comes to the Bronx. My advice is to see him when he touches down in the NYC. The last time he was at The Paradise Theater he packed the place and had them on their feet.

Charlie Wilson's New York City Visit

Charlie visits New York City a few weeks ago.

Who knew Uncle Charlie raised chickens and sold farm fresh eggs in Los Angeles on the weekends. I know the market he's talking about!

I hope all of you keep picking up on the fact that he is working his way to the top. He hasn't had the door opened for him because of his Gap Band success. His grind is to be admired. Let's be real...there are 25 year old dudes who do less in a week than he did in the above video.

The man deserves his success. I'm glad he caught a hit with, "There Goes My Baby"!

I was at the Javitz Center when he was there, only I was next door on the upper level at a separate convention and conference.

UPDATE: The Jimmy Kimmel video was taken down, but, I found a good radio interview of him lip syncing the song on air. This guy stays young!

Unlike some singers who lose "it" over time or just have a corny style, Charlie Wilson always has a fresh sound and presentation. Snoop and Pharrell wouldn't mess with the man if he weren't fresh!

Lil Kim ft. Charlie Wilson and T Pain - Download

This is one of the better remakes I've heard of Computer Love. T Pain uses Auto Tune like a TalkBox and Charlie Wilson cut his vocals just as good or even better than he did on the original. Lil Kim even sounds good sing/rapping on track.

I noticed they're plugging that new Acer Netbook that AT&T Wireless will be rolling out through Radio Shack and Cosco for $80 dollars with a 2 Year Plan.

I'll pass on it. The memory is low, the harddrive is small and I can see it being obsolete within a year and a half.

Also... I'm gonna act like I didn't see that liquor they are advertising in this video, the one whose name I'm not going to mention in my blog.
