Count and Moonie are Chicago's own L.E.P. Bogus Boys.
Chicago's L.E.P Bogus Boys and stopped by radio station WGCI to discuss the events leading up to their being removed from the A$AP Rocky show at the Chicago House of Blues.
On the Tony Sculfield and The Morning Riot show they group discussed having no idea why they were prevented from taking the stage.
Raekwon invited Chicago's L.E.P. Bogus Boys to jump on his newest project, the Unexpected Victory EP, "This Shit Hard" is a single and video from that project.
Neak's newest visual for the song "Runnin' Right Back" directed by Aaron Perkins, Jr., song produced by Rashid Hadee.
Neak cleverly narrates the tale of a shorty bouncing back and forth between an old relationship and the new one she's in. Aaron Perkins, Jr. does an impressive job of illustrating the ups and downs associated with such a dysfunctional situation, showing the hurt that it creates.
LEP Bogus Boys team up with Reebok to present this live performance in "The Go", I just wish the sound would have been more on point so cats could understand how energetic these dudes are live.
Rashid Hadee - Aural Sex: The Search For Pinky Tuscadero | Stream or Download
This Rashid Hadee(@rashidhadee) video for "Greatest Mother Ever" has a great twist. It was directed, shot and edited by Thaione Davis aka Dave Galaxie of Justanothercanvas.
Lyrically it's cool to see Hadee writing facetiously, using irony, sarcasm and other linguistic devices in his work - it shows that rap as an American art form is not degenerating but continues to be poetic, literary and current in addressing issues in the lives of the writers, performers and audience.
"Greatest Mother Ever" shows strength in his ability to write outside of the normal framework established for new rappers - materialism, braggadocio or coke rap. The subject of how to mother children properly is a timely one and my dude approached it in a slick fashion. Cold.
Sometimes you see a talent and hope you can send all of the energy you can out to them to continue creating... well I'm sending some out to "the Chi".
LEP Bogus Boys make it clear that street organizations are nothing to play with. Their message, "Don't try to steal the shine, if you didn't out in the time".
If you don't belong to an street organization there is no need to claim affiliation and seek to benefit from it.
The 8th video from his Aural Excitement: The Search for Pinky Tuscadero. Aaron Perkins does a solid job of directing. The fact that it was shot using the metaphor to mean the literal and the figurative is dope.
Rashid Hadee gets his John Shaft on in these videos, I'm not mad at him.
Always glad to see something fresh from producer/artist Rashid Hadee. This visual is for "Let Me Be" from his definitive project, Aural Sex: In Search of Pinky Tuscadero(click link to download).
Rashid Hadee's name is synonymous with quality in my book.
It's always good to see a producer release a definitive body of work that displays their talents in such a way that you completely understand what they are capable of(think Slum Village's Fanstastic Vol. 1&2), the Aural Sex album is that for Rashid Hadee.
