Press Conference: Erykah Badu Banned In Malaysia

Erykah Badu was banned on Tuesday from performing in Malaysia because of a photo of her with tattoos on the top half of her body.  One of them being the word "Allah".

Muslims were offended by the temporary tattoo.

Badu says, she got the idea for the photo from the 70's film "The Holy Mountain" by her favorite filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky.

She's not upset with the cancellation.  She wants to return to the country.

Erykah Badus's performance of Window Seat was one of the many good performances at this year's Soul Train Music Award show.

The 2010 Soul Train Music Awards was one of the best produced award shows for African-American music that I've seen in years. The performances were solid, the pairings made sense, the live band was good and the set design was simple, yet impressive.

Erykah Badu Charged With Disorderly Conduct

Erykah Badu has been charged with disorderly conduct in Dallas for walking through the city naked.

The singer stripped her clothes off in the "Window Seat" video as she walked through downtown Dallas.
