Rapper/singer Nicki Minaj will perform live from Central Park on "Good Morning America Summer Concert Series" on Friday(August 5th) at 7 am on ABC.

She'll perform several songs from her latest album "Pink Friday."

Woman Rescues Police Officer Under Attack

A good Samaritan saves an Ohio police officer from a beat down(or worse), after a routine traffic stop.

He was pinned down by the attacker, when a woman drove by.

She returned shouting, "Call 911", then helped the officer to control the situation.

The woman's name hasn't been released.

She's pretty brave for getting involved in a fight between a cop and a suspect... good job!

Editor's note: That woman whooped that dude's ass!

If she hadn't shown up that cop was in trouble. The cop was going at it with the guy for a minute and nothing was happening.

Once she got on the scene it was "showtime". That's when the guy started realizing he was actually in a fight.

All kidding aside, the woman did an excellent job of helping the officer and I hope more police realize there are more people like her out there.

Whitney Houston will perform LIVE in New York's Central Park as part of the Good Morning America Fall Concert Series.

The event is FREE!

When: Today - September 1st

Where: Central Park - Rumsey Playfield - Enter on 69th and 5th Ave. or 72nd and 5th Ave

Time: Gates open @ 11am

The concert will be broadcast nationally on Good Morning America Wednesday, September 2nd.

Steve Harvey To Join "Good Morning America"

Steve Harvey has joined ABC's " Good Morning America", the announcement was made by Senior Executive Producer Jim Murphy.

The author, comedian, actor and host of the syndicated radio program, "The Steve Harvey Morning Show", will do a series of reports on topics ranging from relationships to parenting over the next few months.

He will interact with viewers via ABCNEWS.com, Skype and live in-studio guests.

His first report is Wednesday, August 19th.

The show is anchored by Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Chris Cuomo is the news ancho and Sam Champion is the weather anchor.

Since moving to New York City and going on the Oprah Show with his No. 1 book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, Steve has put himself on the fast track to the top.

It's clear he likes the idea of being in New York... as you can see below.

Queen Latifah On Good Morning America - In Central Park As Part Of Summer Concert Series

The Good Morning America Summer Concert Series has Queen Latifah performing in Central Park at Rumsey Playfield.

Central Park opens at 6am - audience members will be allowed in at that time. Concerts are FREE and on a first come, first serve basis, so arrive at 6am.

Performance will start at 8:30am. Broadcast will be from 7am to 9am.

There will be concerts every Friday until August 21st.
