The title explains it all. While in Haiti on their U.S. fundraising effort to help reconstruct Haiti, former U.S. Presidents Bush and Clinton stopped to shake hands with local residents.

The BBC films Bush shaking the hand of a man in the crowd, then trying to be slick and wiping it on Clinton's back while he's shaking other hands. Watch the :11 mark for the bullsh%t move.

Walmart Donates $600,000 to Aid in Haitian Earthquake Relief

Wednesday January 12th, the Walmart Foundation donated $500,000 in cash and $100,000 in medical kits to aid in the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

Haiti Suffers 7.3 Earthquake, Wyclef Speaks With CNN

The country of Haiti suffered a 7.0 - 7.3 earthquake yesterday (Jan. 12th) and the extent of the damage is beginning to trickle off of the island. Many lives were lost and much of the heavily populated capital, Port-au-Prince, was hit hard.

As more information is made available, this post will be updated.

UPDATE 1/13/10: At this time authorities are waiting until daylight to survey the damage. Efforts are being organized to send help to assist those on the ground by organizations like Care.

The White House has issued a statement from Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton that the United States will send help soon.
