Jerkin' Style and Dance Catching On in L.A.

It's been a year since Jerkin' really broke outside of California, since then none of the major labels have done anything with it(damn shame) and the groups have had to do their own work to keep their movement alive(someone had to do it).
The LA Times/All The Rage comes to the rescue again and shines the spotlight on the Southern California rap style and subculture's influence on urban style.
This weekend a Jerkin Showdown with all of the hottest groups will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
40 crews will compete for the title of National Jerk Association L.A. Champion.
Expect Pink Dollaz, UCLA Jerk Kingz, The Ranger$ and more to be there. The Los Angeles Clippers are even getting involved with the event offering giveaways and promising family fun.
