I told you about this performance and I hope some of you were there.

The weather was great and Maxwell gave a flawless show. His band is one of the best rehearsed one's I've heard that can work TV and live venues.

The horn section is tight.

And the best thing is the show was FREE!

Maxwell to Perform on Today Show @ Rockefeller Center - Friday June 25

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Maxwell will be performing live on the plaza at Rockefeller Center tomorrow morning as part of the 2010 Toyota Concert Series.

All concerts are FREE to all willing to arrive at the Today Show studios at 6:00am (concerts begin at 7:00) - seating is first-come, first serve basis.

If you're not going to be in New York City tomorrow morning at 6 am check him out at Rockefeller Center!

It's good to see this brother getting so much attention with this project. Considering the time off, a lot of things could have happened. The project stalled a few times prior to its release, but, they got it going this year and it did great numbers.

The live show was incredible. We blogged on the project from the beginning and supported it from the door. I'm sure many of you supported it too and for Maxwell to win two Grammy Awards last night shows that everyone was able to help create the excitement around BLACKsummer's Night that it needed.

Congratulations Maxwell.

One of my favorite videos this year. Should have been played(and posted) more.

Maxwell fit well in the song, which speaks to Alchemist knowing how to produce a singer.
