Friday, February 18, 2011 New York Fashion Week Fall 2011 closed on Thursday night with L.A.M.B at Lincoln Center.
Gwen Stefani's collection was all I thought it would be and more... cool pieces with touches of glam.
Most of the clothing seen on the runway this week, were classic pieces with a cool modern twist(which was exciting to see).

Tracy Reese has been a favorite this week... looking at her designs, it is clear why.
While she is not new to the fashion scene, she is fresh and experienced enough to understand how to walk that fine line between artistic expression and commerce.
Tracy Reese did her thing with a functional, accessible and chic collection.
She has no time for the aspirational/fashion as fantasy - her designs are too grounded in that hip, sophisticated space that it now and facing forward.
