Michelle Obama Booed at Nascar Race

On Sunday, First Lady Michelle Obama was booed when she and Jill Biden were introduced as grand marshals of a NASCAR race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida.

She and vice president Joe Biden's wife were at the event to promote their Joining Forces project on behalf of military families.

The White House has been low-key about this incident.

Halloween at the White House with the Obamas

President Obama, the First Lady Michelle and Michelle's mother Marian Robinson invited children of military families, the Boys and Girls Club and local elementary school students to the White House on Saturday for a special Halloween Party.  

The Obamas handed out treats on the White House steps as the parents took plenty of photos.

The event was held at the home of White House interior decorator Michael S. Smith and HBO executive James Costos.

American Artist Creates Honey Jars For First Lady

The State Department wanted to use local artisans to create crafts to be given out as gifts by the First Lady, Michelle Obama, on an upcoming trip to Europe.

Caleb Siemon of Santa Ana was selected.

First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia accepted delivery of the official White House Christmas tree, a tradition at the White House.

Afterwards, the growers of the tree, Eric and Gloria Sundback were invited into the White House for cider and Christmas cookies.

Tonight: Michelle Obama On "The Jay Leno Show"

First lady Michelle Obama is set to appear on the "The Jay Leno Show" tonight on NBC at 10 p.m.

She will appear via satellite in Leno's 10 "rapid-fire questions", reports the mirror.

British actor, Colin Firth will be featured alongside the First Lady.
