Charlie Wilson and Chrisette Michelle will be at the Paradise Theater in The Bronx to perform a Valentine's weekend concert.
It will be hosted by radio (and television) personality Egypt of WBLS.
This event is produced by On The Rocks Entertainment and WBLS.
Charlie is singing better than ever and he always impresses when he comes to the Bronx. My advice is to see him when he touches down in the NYC. The last time he was at The Paradise Theater he packed the place and had them on their feet.
Bobby Brown, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill are Heads of State and they will perform tomorrow night in the Bronx at The Paradise Theater with special guest Case.
Who knew Uncle Charlie raised chickens and sold farm fresh eggs in Los Angeles on the weekends. I know the market he's talking about!
I hope all of you keep picking up on the fact that he is working his way to the top. He hasn't had the door opened for him because of his Gap Band success. His grind is to be admired. Let's be real...there are 25 year old dudes who do less in a week than he did in the above video.
The man deserves his success. I'm glad he caught a hit with, "There Goes My Baby"!
I was at the Javitz Center when he was there, only I was next door on the upper level at a separate convention and conference.

I told you about this one in advance.
It's at the Paradise Theater, referred to by Seth Kugel of The New York Times as "the prettiest concert space in the Bronx". If he made it there, you need to make it there.

Save your money, clear your calendar and get a babysitter(if this applies to you). Uncle Charlie is coming to town and that means a lot of star power is going to be in the Bronx that night.

UPDATE: Universal Republic artist K'Jon has been added as the opener for the show.
You may recall we blogged about him prior to the release of his album this summer. (Do a search on on this site for the name "K'Jon" and all the info you need will be here.)

Here's some rough video footage from the show. It may be a little hard to see him at times, but, you can see the turnout for his show!
