"Inevitable" is a cut off of the New York-based group Scissor Sisters' latest album Magic Hour. 

The downtempo, soulful, four on the floor tune plays with late 70s synths and melodic vocal inflections. Light congas come in midway to create an organic feel, complimenting rhythmically arranged lead and background vocals.

Solid lyric. Nice pop/soul song. If you've ever heard the Bee Gees Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack this will sound really familiar.

When singer Lolah Brown is not touring the country with John Legend, singing background for Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson and the like or working on her forthcoming album Black Lily, she can be found creating collaborations like "Show Me" featuring rapper Dunson.

Lolah has an excellent vocal tone, great pitch, superb vibrato and a soulful feel I hope to hear more of in the future. Dunson slides into the track with his rap parts so smooth wit it that it's effortless.

Kendra Morris(@kendramorris) premieres her new video for "If You Didn't Go".

The highly melodic, syncopated and simply sparse song grooves along well with visuals of Kendra in the desert move across the screen. Her vocal work is impressive because she captures the mood of the music quite well. She's soft and reserved while the loping bass line and strumming guitar create the perfect music bed.

All elements compliment each other in this production. Sure, the verses are reminiscent of Sade, but the song finds it own path when that chorus and her background arrangements come in.

By the way... I am a Kendra Morris fan.
