Sean John and Macy's Enter Into Exclusive Distribution Deal

Sean Diddy Combs aka Puff

Macy's and Sean John have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement that will see Macy's selling Sean John sportswear from there stores beginning Spring 2011.

Although the particulars of the deal haven't been disclosed, it will include Macy's building free-standing Sean John stores within their department stores.

Look for the clothing line to introduce improved cuts, better fabrics and a variety of casual and dressy choices. Sport shirts, knits, sweaters, jackets and sport coats are some of the pieces that can be expected.

Sean John brings you SHOP FUTURE, their traveling pop-up store. From January 30 - February 6th, Sean John will descend upon Miami.

Sean John's Spring 2010 sportswear, sunglasses, fragrances and denim will be available(only at SHOP FUTURE).

• TODAY - Tuesday, February 2nd between 5pm and 7pm, GQ and Sean John will present "Well Tailored: A Guide To Suitings".

The event will be hosted by NFL Pro Bowl receiver(Houston Texans), Andre Johnson.

Sean John Flagship Store Sues Landlord - Wants Out of Lease

The Sean John store on 5th Ave (across from the library on 42nd) is upset that a scaffold has been blocking the stores front for the past 3 years. Christian Casey, LLC - the parent company of Sean John, has filed suit against the landlord of the building seeking $2.5 million in damages and wants out of the $660,000 a-year lease it pays to be in its location.

Knowing Puff, it might be a good move in the long run. The city is changing, neighborhoods go up in down in popularity and he may be able to get in on some prime real estate at below market prices(click the link and see what crainsnewyork has to say about falling rents).

Now that's sexy!

Who knows... you might see a Sean John pop-up in the Meatpacking District? I'd rather he stay on 5th Ave. and move north a few blocks.
