Jean Grae Added to Audible Treats 2nd Annual Hip-Hop Showcase @ SXSW + Maschine Controller Give-away

It's official... Blacksmith Music artist Jean Grae has been added to the lineup of the Audible Treats 2nd Annual Hip-Hop Showcase in Austin, TX.

Audible Treats and Native Instruments will be giving away 2 Maschine midi-controllers. One will be given away at each showcase.

If you're not familiar with Maschine, it's similar to an Akai MPC except, everything you do with it can be stored and edited in a computer.

It gives you the flexibility to work with a physical surface yet, you are able to store, edit, recall or develop your ideas from the computer. It's also a controller for other software plug-ins.

The "God" will be dropping that long awaited album September 8th and he will have two MAJOR, MAJOR parties this week in support of its release.

The first extravaganza will be tomorrow night at Santos Party House at 86 Lafayette Street and it will be hosted by everybody's dude...P. Diddy! (I told you cats that P. Diddy/Rae connection was a good idea, but, some of you don't listen).

Also appearing at the party will be host, Peter Rosenberg of NYC Hot 97, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface, Method Man, Beanie Sigel, Talib Kweli, Slick Rick, Lyfe Jennings and a couple of other surprise appearances. Music by DJ Kid Capri.

The ticket for this one is $50.

That may seem like a lot, but, for what might go down...you need to get you as% there! That's a lot of star power for fifty bucks! Could be historic.

On June 25, if you're going to be in the SoHo area, 103 Prince Street(Apple Store) to be exact, you're going to be mad at yourself if it's not during the time Talib Kweli is there.

"Kwa" will be there to perform some of his classics and new material from his new Eardrum album.

Catch a Talib Kweli performance... it's worth it. This cat is one of the few performers who gives an energetic/passionate performance.
