MTV's reality show the "Jersey Shore" was taped in a four bedroom house, overlooking the historical Duomo in Florence, Italy.

The fourth season premieres on Thursday(August 4th) at 10 pm on MTV.

Hammerhead Shark Tracked from Keys to Coast of NJ

A hammerhead shark was tracked from the Florida Keys all the way to the coast of New Jersey.

The shark settled in waters a few hundred feet off from the shoreline.

Sharks have been known to come as far north as North Carolina, but this is a surprise. For some, used to frequenting the Jersey shore, it's no surprise that sharks are in Jersey waters.

"Jersey Shore" Headed to Italy for Fourth Season

MTV's reality television series "Jersey Shore" is headed to Italy to tape their fourth season.

Vice-president, Chris Linn said, "Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us."

The fourth season is set to premiere later this year.

MTV's Jersey Shore May Be Taping at Seaside Heights Memorial Day Weekend

If you're headed down the shore to Seaside Heights this weekend, expect sections of the beach to be closed, bars limiting access, plenty of police & private security and restaurants reserved for the cast.

Jersey Shore producers have been scouting locations for shooting and it just might go down this weekend.

Because the cast is recognizable and there is friction with local residents, all of the precautionary measures are necessary.(Local residents are mad as hell about the show!)

Jersey Shore "Wannabees Turned Out for NY Casting Call

MTV put out the call for talent to cast in its next season of Jersey Shore and held it in the most logical place - wait... here it comes... Long Island, N.Y.! (Really.)

Jersey Shore hopefuls from the New York Metro area made their way to the Crazy Donkey in Farmingdale with plans of being a part of next season's cast(Season 3).

Although the call went out for "guido and guidette types" I'm hearing they had every nationality in that place. (A new trend may be starting - click link to see what I mean.)

This girl loses on a consistent basis. I know it's not entirely her fault(the cameras have a lot to do with it-people want to be seen around her) but, she's got to stop thinking swinging those little fists of hers does any damage.

The Jersey Shore's "The Situation" Filed for Unemployment Last Year

Jersey Shore's "The Situation" must not have seen his financial "situation" as stable after the first season of the show finished taping, because he immediately filed for unemployment when the show wrapped last year.

It became known when his tax return for 2009 surfaced.

It's reported, the entire cast is filming the second season in Florida and receiving $10,000 per episode.

"Jersey Shore" Renewed for Season 2

MTV's "Jersey Shore" series has been renewed for a second season, but won't be taped at the beach house in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

They feel the bond between the friends is enough to continue the series without taping in the cold northeast.

Cast members scheduled to return next season are Mike" the Situation" Sorrentino, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinnie Guadagnino, Sammi"Sweetheart" Giancola, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Paul "Pauly D" Devecchio.

Hum mm..."Jersey Shore" with no Seaside Heights or Jersey Shore in sight?
