The weather was great and Maxwell gave a flawless show. His band is one of the best rehearsed one's I've heard that can work TV and live venues.

The horn section is tight.

And the best thing is the show was FREE!

Al Roker Writes Mystery Novel - "The Morning Show Murders"... Really!

TODAY show weatherman/personality Al Roker has written a mystery novel, The Morning Show Murders.

The Morning Show Murders was written with Dick Lochte. You may recall Roker is authored a New York Times best seller in the non-fiction genre, "Don't Make Me Stop This Car: Adventures in Fatherhood".

The book is written around a celebrity chef names Billy Blessing. If you watched any of Al Roker's programs on the Food Network, you know that he is a foodie. He;'s knowledgeable and produces many of well produced shows. It only seems logical that he would take a step in this direction.

One starts throwing candy around, another starts drinking and all hell breaks loose. Toward the end of the segment one of the Ewoks starts humping Al's leg... then the floor!

The performance will be in studio and the time is 10:00am.

If you're going to be down by Rockefeller Plaza around 8:00am-9:00 am, stop by. They encourage fans to do so.

Flo Rida - NBC The Today Show - Rockefeller Plaza - Friday, August 14th 7AM

Flo Rida will perform live on NBC's The Today Show as part of the 2009 Toyota Concert Series. The live performance will take place in New York's Rockefeller Plaza.

Flo Rida will hit the stage at 7:00am, but, fans and visitors are asked to arrive by 6:00am for best viewing.

The exact location is 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza, outside Today's window-on-the-world studio.

If you're in the city on vacation or going to be near that area at 6:00am, you might want to check out a free concert. First come, first serve basis.
